Up North is a state of mind & a special place. For many, Up North represents escapism from every day life and to be alone with one's thoughts, just as golf is likewise a refuge.

Our goal is to provide women with modern, comfortable, and classic but fashionable golf apparel regardless of their stage in life. After searching for clothes to wear my first season, I was sorely disappointed in the selection that was available. From design & fit, to color & patterns, it felt like golf fashion had not evolved in 20 years and does not represent the current woman golfer. Not to mention the nonexistent maternity options.

I'm a transplant Michigander about to start my third season of golf, I'm usually just trying to stay under double par. However, as a self-proclaimed athleisure enthusiast, I expect my golf wear to be as fashionable and comfortable as my workout gear. When I could not find what I was searching for, I set out to create it.
